One of my medical providers has started to send me cryptic texts with a link attached.
I do not open links on my phone.
I am not about to open a link to a website I don't recognize.
I finally called the provider to ask what the hell was happening & explain that what they are doing looks EXACTLY like phishing.
Turns out all they wanted was for me to schedule an appointment to see my doctor about a refill.
*sigh*
"Every time you get one of those texts, just call us" was the solution offered.
