lthough I don't think those are the ones, in 90s/00s my mates would have stopped to check if they were psilocybin shrooms (the smol ones grow wild in many parts of England).

Those with sense would have ridden back home *first* before consuming any (or else it would have become difficult and even risky to ride the bicycle..)
