#WritersCoffeeClub what prompted me to write?
Technically, New Orleans. The lovely little alleys and hidden shops were just begging to be the setting of something fun. But then Katrina happened and I shelved my WIP.
Fast forward a few years, I'm married & mention my shelved idea. For our first anniversary, I get a laptop. That only produced a blog. Next, a kindle for "inspiration." A few years later I get a netbook for my birthday and it clicked.
So officially: aggressive spousal tech gifts. 😂
