Because I am seeing a lot of pigeon love on my tl today, here's a rec for any pigeon lover who's not yet read it: Rosemary Mosco's _A Pocket Guide to Pigeon Watching: Getting to Know the World's Most Misunderstood Bird_. Includes such chapters as "Why Pigeons are Dinosaurs, Doves, and Puppies" and "Why Is That Pigeon Doing That Thing?" It's so funny, so informative, so full of cartooning, and, ofc, so good.
