I, a long-time Windows user, could not get it to do everything I wanted it to do out of the box. Installing packages was opaque and confusing. It lacks control over the desktop elements. The "Applications" button is a very poor replacement for a Start menu. Overall, it needs a *lot* of work and is *not* "easy". Mint is much better, but I'm curious about Zorin.
