so if youre one of my big fans (i'm sure there's like one of them that's not my wife. maybe) you know i've been vibe coding all month well yesterday i had to give up and write code myself. agentic coding chatbot llm harness just couldn't do it. i wrote it myself debugged it myself and then just told the chatbot "just plug in this code" because it just. couldn't. do it. no matter how much coaxing or guidance or hints I gave it.

so i also recommend to give anyone who tells you chatbots can code a wedgie

it can regurgitate a worse pre-digested more verbose buggier form of someone elses code if you're doing basically the same shit as someone already did that got slurped up into the training data. like all genAI.

so yeah if you wanna puke out the same software that already exists but worse, it will. but that's not coding.
