AI makes you stupid in ways that many other tech has made us stupid. You don’t know anyone’s phone number anymore because it’s in your phone. If you use GPS you stop paying attention how to get somewhere. They’re not big things, but we continue to relinquish cognitive function to corporately owned machines. We’ve only been writing books and making movies about this for 75 years.
