Hebrews 6:10 (NIV) speaks about the righteousness of God, love, and serving others. This verse reminds us that God does not forget the good works we do out of love for Him and for His people.

> “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”
> Hebrews 6:10 (NIV)

**1. What does the Bible want to teach us?**

**1. God does not forget what you do.**

People may not see your sacrifices. You may help others without receiving any thanks or recognition. Yet God sees your heart, your motives, and the things you do out of love.

Galatians 6:9 teaches us not to grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

**2. Love for God is shown through actions.**

We do not merely say that we love the Lord; we also demonstrate that love by caring for, helping, and serving those around us.

- Helping those who are in difficulty.
- Showing concern for the lonely or the neglected.
- Forgiving and treating others kindly.
- Serving without expecting anything in return.

In Matthew 25:40, Jesus teaches that when we do good to the least of His brothers and sisters, we are doing it for Him.

**3. God wants us to continue doing good.**

The verse does not only speak about what you have done in the past; it also emphasizes that you continue to help His people.

Sometimes serving others makes us tired, disappointed, or feel that no one understands us. Yet this verse encourages us to keep loving with a sincere heart and with wisdom.

**2. The deepest meaning of the verse**

God sees what people may overlook.

The value of service does not lie only in the results or in the recognition of others, but also in the love and faithfulness you show before God.

You do not need to be seen by everyone for your deeds to have meaning in His sight.

This does not mean we do good works in order to earn God’s love or salvation. According to Ephesians 2:8–10, we are saved by grace through faith, and we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works.

**3. Application to life today**

Ask yourself three questions:

- Am I helping others out of love or because I want to be recognized?
- When no one says thank you, am I still willing to do good?
- Am I serving others while also learning to set healthy boundaries?

Remember that loving others does not mean you have to let them take advantage of you. You can love, help, and still maintain wisdom, peace, and necessary boundaries.

**4. Prayer**

Heavenly Father,

I thank You because You are a righteous God who does not forget the things I do out of love for You. Please give me a sincere heart that knows how to love, serve, and help those who need care.

When I am weary, unrecognized, or feel that what I do is meaningless, please remind me that You see my heart. Grant me strength to continue doing good, wisdom to know how to help in the right way, and humility so that everything I do brings glory to Your name.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

**In summary**

Hebrews 6:10 reminds us that God does not forget the love expressed through actions. Therefore, keep doing good—not to receive praise from people, but because you love God and want to reflect His love to others.
