I love that I have gotten multiple replies to this thread from people who discovered bands/songs they now love thanks to ol' Jimmy Gunn.

That's only ever going to be a certain subset of people because musical taste is so varied. But for those of us who DID get introduced to new music that brings us joy, it's such a fucking treasure. It means a lot, & it really grants a feeling of human connection, something special that someone shared with us.
