I think I've *sort of* been unaware of people bullying me for being "weird" (autistic), because they do it in such neurotypical ways.
It still does the intended harm: it singles you out & makes you feel "wrong" in some way, but because it's hidden in someone simply factually commenting on something with no explicit mockery, as an autistic person I think I often assume the other person doesn't realize their words are hurtful & don't see that they did in fact say the hurtful thing on purpose.
