How would you describe your MC’s facial features?\n\nI do my best to NOT to specifically describe the distinct features of characters unless it's important to the plot, and until the moment it becomes important to the plot. I use readers' preconceptions and prejudices as tools to tell the story. Equally, I want readers to read themselves into the characters. If I were even to state one character has porcelain white skin, or the other is dark enough the tattoos are lost in the canvas they're drawn, readers write stories in their head that are not what I intend, or expect what won't ever be. \n\nSo. Nope. Not saying. \n\n[Author retains copyright (c)2025 R.S.]\n\n#BoostingIsSharing and #CommentingIsCool\n\n#gender #fiction #writer #author\n#writing #writingcommunity #writersOfMastodon #writers\n#RSdiscussion",
