I will say, it doesn't have to be an expensive hobby. for a long time, I got by with a single Lamy Safari (the classic Yellow). those pens are inexpensive, and you get so much life out of a single bottle of ink. but then people figured out I was into pens and started gifting them to me. i.e. not pictured in that pile is a special edition Lamy Safari x Pokemon made for the Thai market one of my besties hunted down for my birthday this year. I'm very lucky to have kind friends.
