- Add: Admin tools for staff on Mastodon, Pleroma, Akkoma, GoToSocial,
Misskey and its forks, and Mitra, from the drawer and the settings:
reports, accounts and sign-ups, restricted, allowed and known servers,
access blocks, relays, GoToSocial's list subscriptions, the dashboard,
trends, custom emojis, announcements, rules, invites, the moderation
log, roles, the server's settings and maintenance, as far as the
server's admin API and the user's role allow, with links to the web
admin for the rest. Staff allow them once by logging in again; no one
else is asked.
- Add: Reports and sign-ups handled one after another, the next offered
after each, and reports, accounts, sign-ups and known servers shown
beside their lists on tablets and foldables.
- Add: Notifications of new reports and sign-ups for staff, on channels
of their own: sent by the server where it sends them, checked by the
app where it doesn't. Sign-ups can be approved from the notification.
- Add: Staff see how an account stands on its profile, and moderate
accounts and posts from their menus.
- Add: A reply workspace: the original post beside the editor, in panes
that can be resized and swapped, quoting text selected in it, and a
preview of the draft with its media and poll, rendered on the device.
- Add: Timelines, profiles, threads and notifications viewed before stay
available offline.
- Add: Profiles open beside the timeline on wide screens.
- Add: Log in to servers that listen on a port of their own.
- Add: Settings for how often and on which networks notifications are
checked, what they show on the lock screen, how often the unread count
refreshes and whether what you've read syncs with the server.
- Add: Settings to turn live updates off or keep them to Wi-Fi, for how
long requests wait for servers, and to turn off lookups on other
servers.
- Add: Settings for the size and quality of uploaded pictures, playing
videos when opened and starting them muted, with a mute button in the
viewer, swiping to close pictures and how far they zoom, where
downloaded media is saved, and how many avatars are kept and for how
long.
- Add: Settings for the default language of new posts, replies that
mention only the author or leave out the content warning, the default
duration and choices of polls, keeping or discarding unsent posts
without asking, how long sending is retried, and how many recent emojis
are kept, and clearing them.
- Add: Settings for when long posts collapse, how many posts load at
once, what tapping the current tab does, jumping to new posts, the
length of reply previews, the link preview of the opened post, and
confirming favorites and unfollows.
- Add: Settings for back leaving the app from any tab, a 12- or 24-hour
clock and seconds in absolute times, the size of media previews and
the columns of media on profiles.
- Improvement: Settings laid out like Android's own: a search, a card for
the account and one for each domain, and pages beside the first on wide
screens. Android's settings of the app and of its notifications open
them.
- Improvement: Absolute times in the language's format, with the year of
older posts.
- Improvement: "Download all media" saves to Pictures/Chudsky like single
downloads, or where chosen.
- Improvement: Media descriptions as long as the server takes them.
- Improvement: Quick replies from notifications use the account's default
formatting.
- Improvement: Opening the notification bell fetches what its badge
counts.
- Improvement: Notifications that arrive while streaming is down are
caught up afterwards, and an account falling back to periodic checks
no longer stops the others' streams.
- Improvement: Less battery and data: fewer notification and server
requests, streaming timers stopped while offline, hidden emoji
animations paused, and paused media no longer keeps the screen on.
- Fix: Pleroma and Akkoma take files of any type, pictures with videos,
media with polls, and pictures of any size again.
- Fix: GoToSocial accounts on UnifiedPush are pushed their favourites.
- Fix: On Misskey, notifications are marked read once they are shown,
not when they load.
- Fix: A Misskey server's features are read from that server when its
account isn't the active one.
- Fix: Notes of only mentions keep their text.
- Fix: The custom emoji pickers no longer fill the memory until the app
crashes when scrolled up and down or opened again and again, nor crash
when opened and closed quickly.
- Fix: Crashes in search, and on media, polls and notifications whose
content is gone.
- Fix: The profile's toolbar icons read over light header images, and the
open-in-browser icon shows on the light theme's collapsed toolbar.
- Fix: The profile directory, groups and follow requests sit below Lists
in the drawer, as meant.
- Fix: Notifications keep loading past an empty page, and changes to a
conversation show right after its list loads.
