Well we did drag ourselves down to the #allotment earlier... trudging through town, Kat wielding a spade, me lugging a sledgehammer... like we're extras on a zombie apocalypse set.

Just a bit of fencing done. Rear box end wire in place, and we now have top and bottom strainer wires done on the dividing fence line, plus a high wire to deter the munties.

Next job will be to put in the simple upright stakes down the line and then I need to find my U nails and nail the wires in place before we can then finally clip on the mesh fence.

It was all a bit unpleasant, very grey, rather harsh easterly biting into us, and the odd wave of spitty rain. Whilst I am glad of the bit of extra progress, I'm not sure we should have subjected ourselves to it (my allotment policy is it is NOT supposed to be a nasty chore). On the bright side I could definitely do with more of the 2 miles walking thing, my health is just a bit dire really.
