I really would like to be able to switch easily between different window managers and UIs. There are issues there, but I am happy that the keychain issue is being worked on. When I started playing with UNIX in the old days, one of the nice things was the ability to mix and match things like window managers. That has been partly lost and IMHO we should fix that. A clear benefit of Linux is that we have those different window managers and making it easy to switch is IMHO a must.
