I canned another 6 quarts of pickles last evening, all sealed. I’m pretty sure I heard one ‘pop’ when it cooled overnight and created the vacuum, it rang like a weird distorted bell. I must have 20 jars now. When I was a kid my mom used this water bath canner for tomatoes - I remember hearing that pop sound when the lid sealed. She really knew what she was doing.
