Nambe Lake yesterday. Still recovering from the hike, but it was so worth it (as this hike always is).
Half of Santa Fe thought so too. It was far more crowded than I've ever seen it (all the trailheads lower down on the ski hill road were also packed). I guess everybody wanted to escape the heat on the first hot day this summer. Which we did: it was delightfully cool at the 11,300' lake.
