I've never understood how Christianity can be so... contagious.
People are getting along, believing whatever they believe, then in comes a stranger with this crazy story... and the next thing you know they're building churches and smothering themselves in pointless guilt!
I suppose most places DID laugh the crazy person out of town, and we only hear about the ones who got conned.
