UPDATE: I ended up deciding on a VPS from OVHcloud. I had thought I'd be able to snag an Oregon, U.S. based server, but by the time I went to purchase one earlier this evening they didn't have any stock available. I'm now setting up a server based in Ontario, Canada. Which is fine!
And it's looking like I'll do just fine with a ~$12/month option…which is fantastic and a helluva lot cheaper than what I was paying for at DigitalOcean!
