I'm not the sort to compliment myself or acknowledge my strengths, but if there's one thing that I have to be fair to myself on, it's that I'm stubborn when it comes to fighting for things I care about. I fight even after the war is clearly lost.
Maybe it's pride but something in me refuses to concede defeat in almost everything I do or stand for. That doesn't mean I don't WANT to give up on things at times, because I experience feelings like that very regularly, but I also know that if I give up, I'll never be able to live with myself in the future.
