Because Mastodon is more global, I’m learning a lot about what is happening politically in other countries, specifically when it comes to public sentiment. They’re just little glimpses but taken as a whole are quite interesting. This is just the English speakers I’m exposed to, of course.
A lot of it I glaze over, but you pick up a lot.
