Aug 2, 2026 @ 09:06 Good morning family & friends❣️ Well golly, here we are 2 days later! I shall explain... Yesterday morning I got up, knowing I had to get Maisie to the after-hours vet clinic for her foot. They could get me in at 16:00. Until we had to leave Pete and I talked about the stuff couples usually talk about, I checked my emails, worked on this blog, etc. We left at 15:00 and by the time they were done with Maisie it was nearly 17:00, stopping grab a bite since we hadn't eaten all day; by the time we got home, Maisie had gotten her bandage off. (At least the dressing was only $45 of the total $380 bill 🙄.) Once we got Bojack to stop freaking out about Maisie's e-collar, I re-bandaged her foot, we sat down with a beverage each and fell asleep in our chairs; Pete woke me up several hours later, at about 23:00...told me to go to bed and he'd stay with the dogs in the living room. Didn't have to ask me twice! I fell asleep instantly when and he woke me at 7:00 with some hot fresh coffee made and here I am. Which it why it seems 2 days later!
