Trump is only a symptom. A decoy, even. Once he's gone we'll have Democrats telling us not to expect anything from them because fixing the damage he did is just SO HARD while they keep finding endless excuses to continue war profiteering, surveillance, corporate bailouts and so on, and on, and if we get too uppity about it they'll help sic somebody worse than Trump on us to keep us in line.
