Along the years I have bought some ebooks from Amazon and they are in "my" Kindle library. The fact that I paid for books that are "mine" and yet I cannot have the file (PDF/EPUB/MOBI) on my own computer, and the fact that Amazon at any given time can cut my access to it are making me uneasy.
Since about 5 years ago I have exclusively bought DRM-free music, audiobook, and ebooks, but I don't know how I can get what I have previously paid for on Amazon out of that ecosystem.
