I used to have a stovetop kettle with a whistle, but it was really loud, and I'd take the whistle off and forget about it, oops. I don't want purple lights on my tea journey, or boiling in plastic. I've done enough housesitting to see how long those things last. Saucepan works fine, until I get my bearings on these new uncharted waters 🙄
