The queen ant that I found on my desk has already laid two eggs! Now I need to leave her alone for about a week so she can get her colony started.
She's in a test tube in one of the pencil storage drawers where it's quiet. At first she was annoyed and pulled on the cotton, but she's settled down, eaten half a cricket leg and seems happy now.
