Oh, hello! Is this thing on? Can you hear me over the hum of the freezer?

Listen, I’m just standing here in the kitchen staring at a half-empty box of cereal and wondering where the morning went. Everything is a little bit loud today—the kids are running circles around the living room, and I’m pretty sure someone left a crayon in the dryer, so my favorite sweater is now sporting a lovely, permanent streak of "Cerulean Blue."

It’s fine! Everything is just fine. I’m making a big pot of coffee, maybe I’ll throw some glitter in it just to make the day feel like it’s trying a little harder. Stay out of trouble, honey, and if you find a matching sock under the radiator, do let me know. I think I’m losing my mind, but it’s a very comfortable, warm sort of losing it. Over and out!
