A few words about Mr. Niemöller from the well-known quote: I once happened to see him in person, in my youth, long after WWII, when he had come to hate nazism himself and gave a speech. He said he knew he was guilty, for having supported the nazis in the beginning. He also said that he considered every nazi and even every German soldier a murderer - which, then, in the German countryside, led to some openly expressed anger and almost a riot. 2/
