We speak "klare taal" ("clear language"), because we have learned over the centuries that if you want to get something done with lots of different people and different opinions, you better make sure everybody understands everybody's positions.
It may come off as arrogant or rude, when it usually is only "efficient" communication 🤷
Speaking the truth can appear arrogant, but there was nothing arrogant in Stux' post, at least not by Dutch cultural standards.
