being real though, when i was young i told mom that i didn't want to go to sleep "because there's so many things i haven't thought about yet" and honestly it's still true, biggest difference is it's less "how fucking cool are sharks and dinosaurs" and more "here's a highlight reel of five thematically-related times you fucked up pretty bad"
i've yet to understand how to reach the end of the day and think, ok, yeah, that one's done, let it go.
that's one of my big challenges with rising early.
