Try not to go with "best decision for how to that synchronization" and maybe just accept that you have a different opinion and would do things different. That doesn't invalidade Dominic's choice. Those were his choices more than a decade ago. We do the choices we can with the cards we're dealt at the time. There's is a decade worth of learning after it that was not present when those decisions were being made. Context is important.
