They’ve known what drives health for decades. It just doesn't fit a profitable funding model. As @dralexisjazmyn points out, the research that could prevent disease — mitochondria, light, movement, metabolic health — isn’t prioritized because it doesn’t generate lifelong customers. There’s far more money in studying what to do after people are already sick. You can’t patent sunlight. You can’t monetize people staying well. So the science that could keep you healthy gets ignored and the science that keeps you dependent gets funded.
