Ya, I mean. I don't think this killed the project on its own. It was a confluence of stuff for sure, but even debugging this took a good amount of effort. I think I could pick up the same project again when I have time. I still like the idea behind it.

It kind of amazes me that I am still getting emails from that thread. People are still walking head long into it, and then finding out after a big debugging session that this was an intentional choice that was communicated nowhere.
