The examples of the first I've seen seem to be along the lines of the MC discovering the girl and becoming intrigued and piqued and aroused and some kind of cat/mouse bullshit Idunno it looks boring.
"Uso Kareshi Demo Ii Kara Tonikaku Shitai Mashiro-chan" might be my favorite of the second to compare to this. She's not intriguing or stylish. She's pent-up and scary. I *really* love how she goes after the girl who has a crush on the guy! Fun! Funny! A great time for all.
