I was talking with a friend on the phone and realized I hadn't gone out Tuesday to see if any of the veggie seeds I'd planted last week (two snowstorms ago) had actually come up & were now getting frost-bit. They're all things that can handle a little snow or overnight freeze (spinach, radish, peas) but multiple days below freezing might be a bit much.
I don't have any flowers yet, but there is a house down the street with a big patch of striped squill all in bloom, and another with the blue squill that was just starting to open yesterday. Not sure how all of that will look after this weekend, either.
