I wish that super-late packages came with a printout of whatever ridiculously unlucky hijinks befell them along the way. I live within walking distance of Schiphol Airport, and it just took eight days for a package to get from there to my house.

What could have happened, given that I haven’t heard of any strikes? Tigers nesting in the warehouse? Delivery truck wheels all exploded because there was summer weather in the Netherlands this summer? Eagle snatched the package out of a worker’s hand and someone went on an epic quest to get it back? I’m not mad, just curious about your logistical nightmares
