Drawtober 28th's prompt for me was 'Bat' so I chose one of the most remarkable bats in Australia - the Ghost Bat. There aren't many white bats in the world, and this is the only Australian bat that goes after other bats, mammals, frogs and reptiles. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_bat for more information. Unfortunately its tendancy to want to attack cane toads is leading to its decline, and it doesn't cope well with barbed wire too, alas.

Drawn very quickly from a photo from Bruce Thomson. https://caveconservationaustralia.org/ghost-bats
