We didn’t get a trial run with BIP110 - all your claims about how spammers have been emboldened is literally YOUR FUCKING FAULT.
If Bitcoiners were going to act, it should have been a forced action. Not some ablrbitrary line in the sand.
So what does a forced action look like? Well how about all the nodes running with 1TB of storage which are on the cusp of needing to upgrade? That’s literally around the corner, but the BIP110 crew either couldn’t or wouldn’t see that, so they blew their loads too early and have now been handed their pants and told to leave before they had time to put them back on.
And by the time all the pants are back on, Luke’s-Lemmings will already have cummed their pants so much they will be useless to the Bitcoin network beyond that.
They couldn’t wait for the 1TB disk noderunners to be forced to upgrade. They couldn’t wait for a milestone. They just had to put their 1-year temporary softfork in place at their arbitrary deadline because **reasons**
They never considered that the 80% whom they didn’t convince to join them, didn’t want a temporary solution. They never considered that 80% actually had to act to give them consensus - 20% has never been consensus by any definition.
I opposed Saylor long before the BIP110 Crew did and warned to be on the other side of any fork he supported. I opposed Core and ran Knots long before they did. I warned of Luke pushing a fork before these clowns ever considered it.
