I only took a quick look at BitChat internals, so I don’t know it that well yet. To me it looks mostly like a terminology difference, not something fundamental. If you would sync and use the same event formats (kind, tags etc), then you could most probably pull each other’s events and vice versa.
Anyway, I’m pretty excited to keep working on Mafrend. Should be fun once it’s out there 👍
