Fog obscured our sunset.
Summer and I sat on the deck stairs to talk.
I wanted to tell her about being stuck in traffic today and people watching while I sat going nowhere.
One person on a street corner stood out and made me smile. I love seeing people who look happy being who they are instead of looking like everyone else.
I felt an affinity with that stranger.
Even though I have been successful working with other people to achieve a goal I'm not a joiner or follower. I often claim that I don't really like people.
Sometimes it's true.
What I'm getting at is that this Mastodon community makes me feel like I've found my folks.
Part of something worth participating in.
An affiliation I didn't even know I needed.
Good things happen here.
Thank goodness and thank you for being the purveyors of good things.
