I have four Crucial 2GiB DDR2 non-ECC single-rank UDIMMs on my desk, and I can't remember what machine they came out of. They have a reseller label that says "August 2024", so they must have been in something I got since then, though I think the Crucial date code is mid 2009. I likely replaced them to get ECC, as well as higher capacity. I use ECC memory in nearly all of my computers, including my main laptop.
