I've been working for the company I do housekeeping for for over 3 1/2 yrs. When I transferred to the new location last spring, it was as a seasonal hire with the understanding that it would roll over into an all yr hire after the summer rush. I was informed this week that Corporate has decided to NOT keep any seasonal hires on, company wide.
...
So I'm back on the job market as of early Oct. Lovely.
On the upside, I've found 3 possible positions so far, though none pay as well as housekeeping.
