My buddy once served me the worst Burgundian Beef Stew I've ever had.
He had all the right ingredients: the right cut of fine beef, some decent French wine. And he had an outdoor gas-fueled wok.
You know how a beef stew should preferably simmer for two hours until the meat is tender? My buddy stir-fried the whole thing swiftly in his wok. 😄
