How isolated are your characters in your current WIP?
Maggie is usually surrounded by people, many of whom she cares for & who cares for her so, in that sense, she's not isolated at all. However, few completely understand the Librarian and her motivations. She's been condemned for various library actions & policies, sometimes rightly, but other times because they didn't see the bigger picture. It's a constant struggle, even with those closest to her.
