Back in the days before all this B.S., I was in L.A. for my job and decided to buy some new shoes at a local store. The clerk asked for my phone number. I told her that I'm Canadian and have never been in L.A. before. She persisted so I gave her my number.. and it was in their system already. Turns out my daughter shopped at a related store in Ontario years before.
