agatha 3 DAYS TO MY BIRTHDAY :v_lesbian: :v_trans: on Nostr: The Air Jordan 15 isn't just polarizing, calling it the most controversial Jordan ...

The Air Jordan 15 isn't just polarizing, calling it the most controversial Jordan wouldn't be an overstatement. The last one designed by Tinker Hatfield, designer of tne 3 until the 15, it is... weird. To be fair, Jordans after the 11 are very different than the rest, we are approaching basketball sneakers and less "cool retros". The 15 is a culmination of that.

Famously based on the X-15 fighter jet, the protruding tongue is a defining feature. It is actually hard, and based on Michael Jordan faces when he was jumping (really!). The 15 isn't just strange, it has been described as hard to wear, uncomfortable, and hard to style (due to the tongue).

The one on the image is actually the very last "OG" 15 that was released all the way back in 2021. The Billie Eilish x Air Jordan 15. Yes, Billie Eilish had her own Jordans, and somehow her favorites are the 15, crazy but mad respect. Nike has, this year, released a reworked version of the 15, and will drop another at the end of the year on the "Black Pack", that celebrates some of the least common Jordans.

That's it for the last #SneakerWednesday of September. I actually may end this here to focus only on my blog now, I feel these go unnoticed most of the time, and that's fine, but them being Fedi posts, seeing no interactions hurts me a bit. The blog I accept that I'm writing into the indie web, but here it hurts a little more.
