"The WNBA has admitted fault after a mother and daughter were discriminated against at the Fever vs the Dream game. Their brief statement said "It should never have happened". They were told to cover their XX-XY Athletics shirts, while people with 'Trans Kids Belong' shirts were put on the Jumbotron. The Atlanta Dream also issued a statement that seemed to throw the WNBA under the bus, saying the actions of WNBA security did not reflect the value of the Dream's aim to provide a safe and inclusive environment. The mother and daughter have spoken up about the incident, providing more details."
