The smol switches have per-port indicator LEDs for breakout mode. The big one doesn't - in fact the link light doesn't even seem to go on in breakout mode.
Not a huge deal, you can see the correct link state in the CLI and I rarely actually look at the front panel of a switch. But a mild annoyance.
