If you've read/heard in media that Ukraine-Russia war starts to turn in Ukraine's favor, it actually might be true, at least to some degree.
I 'm seeing unprecedented levels of hacking attempts on my server coming from Russia and Belarus IPs - mainly failed attempts to SMTP AUTH due to bots crashing on attempts to perform CRAM-MD5 and attempts to exploit WordPress/PHP vulnerabilities. Since my server isn't some high-profile one, this means they're trying to hack as many boxes as possible. That in turn means desperation.
