This is what I think Trump, and the WH Comms team, have done a very poor job of explaining. Trump thought "the hoax" was so obvious, that he didn't need to explain what it was. Of course, the Dems and the media ran with the idea that he was calling all of the Epstein crimes and files, ect. a hoax, and then inferring that he had something to hide. That 'mishandling' has done a lot of damage to his 2024 voting base. He needs to find a way to mend this before the 2026 mid-terms.
